Le Jazz Club
Our purpose is to gather a small group of people who would like to hear, play and sing jazz standards and favorites on a regular basis. We enjoy performing and work together to develop subgroups that hire out for music making for banquets, receptions, church fund raisers, weddings, anniversaries, picnics, dances, private or public events, and even funerals.
We have performed solo, duos, trios, quartets, quintets, sextets and even up to 17 piece dance bands. Please see the links below for snapshots and links to the 17 piece Fort Jazz Big Band website.
Through the medium of music we have come to define much of what we think is good in life. And we have found many wonderful people with whom our music making sounds, well pretty nice (please excuse our pride.) Please come and listen, sing or play with us and see if you can tell who is having fun and who would rather be playing for funerals more often.
